At True Blue Pen Pals, we believe there's something special about real mail — envelopes, stamps, and a little bit of anticipation. Here's how our letters make their journey from us to your letterbox.

When Letters Set Off on Their Adventure

  • Letters are mailed once a month via Australia Post
  • Our main monthly mail-out happens early each month
  • If you sign up after the 5th, your first letter will be posted within 3–7 business days of subscribing
  • Depending on postal timelines, letters sent after the 5th may arrive closer to the beginning of the following month

If a mailing day falls on a weekend or public holiday, letters will head off on the next business day.

Because we use good old-fashioned snail mail, delivery times can vary — sometimes the post takes the scenic route.

Birthday Letters (Extra Special Deliveries)

  • Australian birthday letters are posted on the 1st of the birthday month
  • International birthday letters are posted on the 15th of the month before

This timing gives birthday mail the best chance to arrive close to the big day.

How We Post Our Letters

  • All letters are sent via Australia Post
  • Letters are posted using standard postage stamps
  • Tracking numbers aren't available — this is classic, untracked snail mail

A Note on Delivery Times

Once letters are popped in the post box, they're officially off on their adventure with Australia Post.

While we always dispatch letters according to the schedule above, True Blue Pen Pals can't control postal delays or delivery times once letters are in the hands of Australia Post, and we can't be held responsible for delays or items lost in transit.

Missing or Delayed Mail?

If your letter seems to have wandered off course, please email us at: truebluepenpals@gmail.com

If a letter hasn't arrived more than three weeks past the expected delivery timeframe, we're happy to help and, where appropriate, resend the missing letter — provided the mailing address matches what we have on file.

Address Accuracy (Very Important!)

To make sure letters reach the right destination, it's the subscriber's responsibility to ensure the recipient's address is correct and kept up to date.

True Blue Pen Pals isn't responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect or outdated address details.
