1. About Us
True Blue Pen Pals is operated by True Blue Pen Pals (ABN 64 695 249 119) and operates within Australia. Our products are designed to be fun, creative, and engaging, bringing joy through storytelling and screen-free learning.

2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
- "We", "Us", "Our" refers to True Blue Pen Pals
- "Subscriber" means the person who purchases and activates the subscription
- "Recipient" means the person who receives the monthly letters
- "Subscription" means a recurring letter-based service delivered monthly
- "Billing Cycle" means the recurring payment period associated with a subscription
3. Eligibility & Use
- You must be 18 years or older to purchase a subscription
- Subscriptions are purchased by adults, often on behalf of children
- Letters are intended for personal, non-commercial use only
- While our content is primarily designed for children aged 6–12, adults may also enjoy and engage with the content
4. Subscription Terms
All subscription items automatically renew, except those designated as a non-renewing gift subscription.
By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges in accordance with the subscription selected, unless you cancel before the next billing date.
Subscription Options
Monthly Subscription
- Automatically renews on the 5th of each month
- Your card will be charged monthly
- One letter is mailed each month
6-Month Subscription
- Charged in full at checkout
- Automatically renews every 6 months unless cancelled
- One letter is mailed each month
12-Month (Yearly) Subscription
- Charged in full at checkout
- Automatically renews every 12 months unless cancelled
- One letter is mailed each month
5. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellations must be made by emailing: truebluepenpals@gmail.com
- To avoid renewal, cancellation must be received before the charge is processed on the 5th of the month
If you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew
- You will continue to receive any remaining letters from your current paid billing cycle
- No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a subscription
6. Refund Policy
No refunds are offered once a payment has been processed.
We do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Partial use
- Unused subscription periods
This policy operates in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
7. Shipping & Delivery
- Letters are mailed once per month via Australia Post
- Our main monthly mail-out occurs early each month. If a subscription is started after the 5th of the month, the first letter will be posted within 3–7 business days of subscribing
- Due to postal timelines, letters sent after the 5th may arrive closer to the beginning of the following month
- All letters are sent via regular, untracked mail. Delivery times may vary depending on location and postal services
- True Blue Pen Pals is not responsible for postal delays, non-delivery, or loss once letters are in the care of Australia Post. If a letter does not arrive, subscribers are encouraged to contact us, and we will do our best to assist
8. Address Changes & Accuracy of Information
- The recipient's mailing address can be updated at any time by contacting: truebluepenpals@gmail.com
- The subscriber is responsible for ensuring that all recipient details provided, including names and postal addresses, are accurate and kept up to date
- True Blue Pen Pals is not responsible for delays, non-delivery, or loss resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the subscriber
9. Content, Educational & Personalisation Disclaimer
- All content is provided for informational and educational purposes only
- Content is designed for curious minds of all ages
- Age suitability is provided as a guide only
- Parental or guardian supervision is encouraged where appropriate
For clarity, personalisation of letters is limited to the recipient's first name and, where provided, birth month, and is used solely to personalise the subscription experience. No additional personal information about recipients is collected, profiled, or used for marketing purposes.
10. Intellectual Property
All content produced by True Blue Pen Pals — including letters, illustrations, maps, artwork, text, designs, and branding — is the property of True Blue Pen Pals and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of our content without prior written permission.
11. Social Media Engagement
Where a subscriber or recipient chooses to engage with True Blue Pen Pals on social media platforms — including by commenting, tagging, messaging, or sharing content — any content voluntarily shared with True Blue Pen Pals may be used for promotional or marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By engaging with us on social media, you acknowledge and agree to this potential use. You may request removal of such content at any time by contacting truebluepenpals@gmail.com.
12. Privacy
We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the subscription service and to meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements. Once no longer required, personal information is securely deleted or destroyed.

13. Changes to Service & Terms
True Blue Pen Pals reserves the right to:
- Update or change content, format, packaging, or pricing
- Amend these Terms & Conditions at any time
Changes will apply from the date they are published.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for delays or losses caused by postal services or events beyond our control
- Our liability is limited to the value of the subscription purchased
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
